Why the weekend matters
Aave V4's Equities Hub on Base lets you borrow USDC against tokenized Apple, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta, Microsoft, Nvidia and Tesla. Their prices come from Chainlink feeds that pause while the stock market is closed, so on-chain prices stay frozen until trading resumes.
While the feeds are paused, no price move can liquidate you — but no move is reflected either. If the stock reopens 12% lower, a health factor backed only by that stock drops by about 12% in one step, and liquidators can act on the first new price.
A lending dashboard shows a health factor that doesn't move all weekend. This tool shows what the reopen would do to it.
